HOW TO MEASURE FOR YOUR CURTAINS:
Width:
Measure your rod from bracket to bracket. If you would like fullness for your valance or when your curtain panels are closed, you will double this width to get the approximate amount of fabric you need. You will then choose the panel width that is closest to that. For example, if your windows are 50” wide you will order 2 - 50” panels. This does not need to be exact, as long as you are somewhere around this number you will have enough for gathering and fullness. If standard sizes do not work I can make you a custom size.
Length:
Measure from the top of your rod to the floor or wherever you would like your panels to end. If you plan to use ring clips subtract the ring diameter from your overall length. A professional tip used by designers to hang your rod as close to the ceiling as you can. This will help to give the illusion that your ceilings are taller as it draws your eye up. This will give you that professional designer touch!
